Pondering writing thoughts...

So, I borrowed this from my friend anuna[livejournal.com profile] anuna_81 and I think it's an interesting idea:

Tell me about stories you think I should write. I mean, if you could sit me down for a day or whatever and say, "K, I want you to write this story for me," what would that story be?

I'm not actually promising to *write* any of these, mind you, but it's fun anyway. And who knows if I'll be inspired!

So, if you've got any ideas, I surely could use some prompts ;) It seems I work better that way ;D

What fandoms do you want prompts for?

[identity profile] shenshen77.livejournal.com 2013-02-23 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, the only one I've written in so far is The Avengers and I'm fairly new to the whole writing gig, so I'd say lets keep it there?

Write what you want to write, I guess. Celebrate your voice and your achievements.

A possible prompt- Violence has consequences. Clint and Natasha have created collateral damage, even while working for SHIELD. A relatively innocent victim (a security guard?) was killed or crippled because of Clint or Tasha's actions working for ‘the good guys.’ A spouse or child comes back for revenge.

Or you know, just cuddling assassins (aka, my kryptonite).

I can certainly do that ;) And it works really well with a fic idea I already have, so... yep, there's a definite possibility ;) Thanks for the prompt!

That is the best prompt ever! I'll write and celebrate, thank you!

Oh, but I really like that one! Let's see if I can do something with that...

Feeding the plot bunnies can be ... dangerous. There are still a gazillion unfilled prompts in the Valentine's Day-a-thon!

I suppose it depends whether you want to write a pure shippy piece (see above -- plenty to work with there), or whether you want to tackle something with a plot or a theme (a mission fic). For the latter, pick a news story of the day and stick Clint or Natasha into it and see how they would fit ...

Lots of cracky stuff can be done with sex pollen ...

Oh, cracky sex pollen stuff sounds fun ;)

But I'm grateful for the pointer with the mission fic, definitely have to give that some thought. Thanks :D

So Coulson is ALIVE but recovering from his Loki-hole wound in a remote location that no one is supposed to know about. Clint and Natasha, being Clint and Natasha, ferret out the location and drop by to entertain him during his convalescence. They bring a deck of cards that's missing a two of hearts, several of the miniatures from a Monopoly game, and three dice. Over his stay, what games do they come up with?

I love this, a nice way to get the creativity flowing. Personally, I'm a sucker for role reversals on missions and there's not enough of them out there. Clint has to seduce somebody and Natasha is the backup.

Oh, that is a wonderful idea, I love those too! I'll see if I can get the creative juices flowing ;)
